 Plastic blow molding machine is an automatic equipment used for the production of plastic hollow containers, which is widely used in the manufacture of packaging containers in beverage, food, medicine, cosmetics and other industries.

1. Basic working principle
Two-step method: Plastic raw materials (such as PET granules) are injection molded into a tubular parison (Preform), and then the heated parison is placed in a mold and formed by high-pressure gas blowing.

One-step method: directly extrude the molten plastic into a tubular parison and blow mold it immediately while it is hot (mostly used for HDPE, PP and other materials).

2. Main types
Extrusion blow molding machine: suitable for PE, PP and other materials to produce large-capacity containers (such as barrels and cans).

Injection pull blow molding machine (such as PET bottle): combined with injection molding, stretching, blow molding, the product has high transparency and good strength (commonly used in mineral water bottles and beverage bottles).

Injection blow molding machine: high precision, suitable for small diameter containers (such as medicine bottles, cosmetic bottles).

3. Key components
Heating system: Preheat the parison to the right temperature.
Mould system: Determines the shape and capacity of the bottle.
Air blowing device: provide high-pressure air (usually 0.5~4MPa) to make the parison fit the mold.
Control system: PLC or computer control, adjust temperature, pressure, timing and other parameters.

 

4. Commonly used materials
PET: transparent and high-strength (mainstream material for beverage bottles).
HDPE: good chemical resistance (detergent bottles, medicine bottles).
PP: High temperature resistant (microwave oven container).
PVC: Low cost

5. Applications
